A:AnswerHello Peetie - Thank you for reaching out about this excellent downdraft vent. All of our telescopic downdrafts can be used with any of our cooktops. We only recommend looking over the installation dimensions of both appliances to make sure enough room is available in your countertop. The vent can exhaust downward and the ducting can be run under the floor to exit the house. For availability in your area, please reach out to your local Best Buy. Thanks! - John@GEA
A:AnswerHey there,
This is a good question! Our downdraft vents are only designed to work with cooktops, not ranges. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thanks for reaching out. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHello Buster! Thanks for your question. We cannot confirm that these can be installed together since it is not a GE Appliances unit. We're sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. Stay safe. Emily@GEA
A:AnswerHello Downdraft,
Thanks for reaching out. Great question! The major difference besides the color is in the CFM/sones rating on high speed. On working speed they are the same at 140/2.5. The UVB30SKSS model on high speed is 390/9.0 while the UVB30DKBB model is 370/9.0. We hope this information is helpful. Best wishes. Mike@GEA
