Hi - Thanks for choosing our GE Model JB250RKSS! We know you'll be pleased with your choice. Porcelain enamel finishes are easy to maintain with soap and water. The porcelain enamel surface can also withstand moderate cleaning with non-abrasive cleansing powders. However, since there is a wide variety of cleaning products available, we recommend following the guidelines of the manufacturers of these cleaning products. For example, some non-scratch products are approved for cleaning enamel surfaces while most steel wool pads are not recommended. If the range is hot, use a dry paper towel or cloth to wipe up any acidic spills. When the surface has cooled, wash with soapy water, rinse and polish dry.
