This cooktop does have an optional flush mounting kit available to it if you're interested. The part number for the flush mounting kit is: JXFLUSH1. QuestionHello- I have purchased a GE Profile dual fuel range (P2S930SELSS) to be installed in April. Will this trim kit work to cover the slight gap between the range and the counter top? Can the Best Buy installer do this at the time of installation?

QuestionI'm looking for a slide-in range REAR filler kit for my new 30"-wide Kitchenaid gas range. Nowhere does it list the width of these trim pieces (!).

- Answer Hello and thank you for your interest in our appliance accessories. The dimensions of these trim pieces are 1/4" H x 5/8" W x 1/4" D. However, we do not test them with other manufacturer's products so we cannot guarantee they will be compatible with your appliance. Thanks! - John@GEA

In order to check to see if there are any similar parts for the range in question, we'd need the complete model number of that range. QuestionWHY the heck did GE Stop with the trim on the edge of the slide in ranges? I have it now and it is fabulous - cause of this reason I am searching other brands. I know about the trim kits you sell and quite frankly they are ugly! BRING IT BACK

- Answer Hi DUNN - Thanks for reaching out to us! Your comments and concerns regarding the newly designed slide-in ranges are important to us. Starting in September 2017, we are offering electric, gas, and dual fuel front control slide-in ranges with no overhang, an edge-to-edge cooking surface, and color matched finished sides. No overhang simplifies installation, especially with countertop less than or more than 36", can be installed with counters with beveled edges and allows better fit and appearance with ADA countertops (usually 34"H). Also, the sides are now finished so no added cost for side panels. Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. QuestionAre these re-usable? If we intend to get new countertops in the next few years, would we be able to move this trim to the new countertops with the existing adhesive? Thank you.

QuestionFor a GE dishwasher the rubber molding is hanging out on the right side since there is not a cabinet next to it. My question is can the overlapping piece be cut back a little from top to bottom just on that one side? Thank you!

- Answer Hi Dani - Thanks for choosing GE! Yes, the tub filler piece on the right size can be cut for a better fit. When the door is closed, there is a gap between the door and the tub. These filler (trim) strips are used to fill that gap and provide a more finished look. By filling in the gap, this also helps reduce the normal sounds that a dishwasher makes, therefore making it more quiet. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

- Answer I think they cover up to 3/8 of an inch on each side. Should be plenty unless cutout was sloppy.
