Hey there, and thanks for reaching out to us about this beverage and wine center. We appreciate your interest and would like to assist. Regrettably, an 18" cabinet would not work without modifying the cabinet opening itself; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The dimensions of the wine center are 33" H x 19" W x 22 1/2" D. The dimensions of the cut out space should be 33 1/2" minimum for height, 19 1/2" minimum for width and 23 1/2 " minimum for depth. Those dimensions allow for the door to swing and access to the pull-out shelves when the unit is installed as a built-in. If the installation is between frameless cabinets, a ½” wide filler strip or side panel may be needed on the hinge side, so the width of the opening needs to include the filler strip.
