Q: QuestionI just bought a French door ge profile with ice maker in the freezer. Every time I open freezer door, ice maker drawer slides out also. Is the normal?

• A:Answer My GE does the same thing too. I am not sure if it is normal or not but I can't seem to find a way to change it. I really don't like that it does that...another thing I dislike about this fridge.

• A:Answer Hi - Great question! This model with the icemaker in the freezer compartment will hold approximately 3 lbs of ice. Our refrigerators that have the icemaker on the inside of the left refrigerator door will hold approximately 3.6 lbs of ice. We do hope you choose one of our beautiful GE refrigerators for your home. • A:Answer Hi - Thank you for your interest in this beautiful GE French Door refrigerator. This model does not come from the factory with an icemaker installed. You of course, have the option of not using the icemaker. There is a switch on the body of the icemaker itself that you can turn off if you should choose to do so. We hope this helps. All our best! Q: QuestionThe LED light for the control panel does not light up. I can see the temp numbers adjust up and down, but the LED light does not light. How do I fix this?

• A:Answer Hi - Thank you for checking with us. In the event someone inadvertently placed the unit in the Sabbath mode, try pressing and holding the Alarm and Water Filter pads at the same time for 5 seconds and see if that restores the lighting on the control panel. If it doesn't, press and hold those pads again for 5 seconds. If the issue persists, disconnect power to the refrigerator for 2-3 minutes by unplugging the unit or at your breaker box to reset the electronics. If this does not restore the lighting for the control panel, you will need service. We hope this helps. All our best! Vikki@GEA

Q: QuestionAre the doors hinged for zero clearance? In other words, I have a 33" opening so the left side of the frig would be against the wall. Can I still open the left door flush with the wall? (Current frig photo attached)

Q: QuestionHow do I make the water colder? It seems like it's just a bit colder than room temperature

• A:Answer Hello - We can certainly understand tour concern about the water not being cold. Bottom freezer and French door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that holds 12 - 24 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. After the 12 - 24 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. You can also adjust the temperature in the fresh food section to a colder setting. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA

When loading the refrigerator in a moving van, truck, etc., it is best to keep it standing upright to minimize possible damage to the sealed system or prevent damage to loose items. French-Door & Bottom-Freezer models: These must always remain upright, though they can be tilted to get through doorways, etc. We hope this was helpful! Mike@GEA

Q: QuestionDo you have to connect the internal water dispenser to have water for ice? I question wasting energy by opening the door constantly for water so I would like to shut off. Also can water spills or drips get into the freezer?

The external water line runs into a single valve that directs the water to either the dispenser or the icemaker. The best option here is to simply not use the internal water dispenser. Q: QuestionDoes this unit have dual evaporators? One for the freezer and one for the fresh food area so the air isn't exchanged. Is the temp adjustable for the full with 3rd drawer in the fresh food area?

Q: QuestionThis is the Model number that one of your competitors offer and the options to order. GNE25JSKSS. I chose to option for color "SS" and "None" for ice/water dispenser. We have no need for water or ice. Other of your competitors say it is not possible?
