We are happy to tell you more about the draining options. This dehumidifier is not a drain pump model that can be connected to a pump system and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Water can be removed from the unit using the bucket or you can connect a drain hose. When using a hose, water will be automatically emptied into a floor, which allows you to run the unit continuously without having to worry about emptying the bucket. It is designed to accept a standard garden hose (not supplied) that leads to a floor drain.
