• It says in the book that after you clean the filter you have to turn the light off by pushing the button next to the light.

• Hi -After you clean and reinstall the filter press the Filter pad on the air conditioner to reset the Filter Reminder. If the red light does not go off, try disconnecting power to the unit by unplugging it for 1-2 minutes to reset the electronics. This should resolve the issue for you. Thank you for checking with us.
