“I know the depth of the a/c from front to back. However, what is the depth from the a/c window bar (where the window connects to the a/c) to the end/back of a/c? I have a small footprint outside of the window and need a depth between 7-8 inches.”

We installed in regular wall of our Sunroom, and had no issues. I don't know what the standard/typical thickness of an outside wall is but our is not as wide as 7-8 inches.
