• It’s not super quiet but we got use to it. There is a noticeable difference between when it’s running and when it’s not.

• Hi pharmgirl - Thanks for viewing GE Model # AHP08LZ! Decibel (sound) rating is 62. Also, it does not have a dehumidify/dry mode. It does remove moisture while cooling (Dehumidification (pts./hr.) 2.1). Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

• No it’s not silent nor loud. It’s in between. And no it does not have a dehumidifier nor a dry mode
