• Hi NYDesigner - Thanks for viewing GE! Model AHP08LZ is 12 5/8"H x 18 4/7"W x 15 1/3"D. It will fit without accordion side panels installed. If accordion side panels are installed, fits windows 24-1/2" - 36" wide, minimum height 13- 3/8". Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

• Yes, it will WITHOUT the adjustable side panels. That's how I have mine installed (it's actually in a side-sliding window in an office). With a 19" opening, you'll need a few strips of foam insulation to take up the gap, as the unit measures 18.6" wide.

• The unit, itself, is 18 1/2 inches. You have the accordion like closures on each side. I don't know if they are already attached or you have to install them beforehand. I didn't set up the unit. If they are not attached, I think it will work if you attach one side for that last half inch.
