• The unit I purchased had them in the box. Minor installation required, please read instructions enclosed, you will need a smallish Phillips head screwdriver.

• The side panels are included. They are flimsy though. Also note the max width which they extend (Maximum Window Opening Width 36 inches). If your window is larger, you may want to do as I did and just cut some wood to size to fill the side gaps. Even for a smaller window, I personally would want something a little more sturdy than what is provided.
