“The Specs read "Minimum window opening, width: 24.5 inches. Elsewhere it says Product width is 18-5/8 inches. My window opening is 21 inches. I'm confused by the 2 different dimensions in the specs. Will the unit fit in my window?”

Hi Jeep - Thanks for considering GE! Model AHP08LZ! We are sorry to hear of the confusion and glad to help. With accordion side panels installed, this model fits windows 24 1/2" - 36" wide, minimum height 13-3/8". The air conditioner can be installed without the accordion side panels if needed to fit in a 21" wide window.
