“how easy is it to turn burners on, does it have an electric igniter?”

Hello- We appreciate your question and your interest in this cooktop. This does have an electronic ignition and you have to push the knob in and turn it to the LITE position. You'll hear a clicking noise...the sound of the electric spark igniting the burner. When one burner is set to the LITE position, all the burners will spark. This is normal.
