“My new GE washer GTW460ASJ5WW sucks. Clothes do not clean & don't smell clean after washing. No way to just rinse out clothes without going through an entire cycle. GE can't tell me how to get just a rinse cycle. WORST MACHINE EVER! Won't buy GE again.”

I have the same problem. I use good products. Followed the directions to the letter. Hate this machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree. I bought a new top loader and everything comes out grey now. Sheets, pants, everything is twisted into an impossible knot. The agitator only goes one way, not back and forth. Supposedly, this is the way it’s supposed to work. Worst washer ever. Can’t wait until it dies and I have to spend hundreds more on something that will (hopefully) work.

A Rinse Only cycle can be accomplished by selecting the Deep Rinse and/or 2nd Rinse option in conjunction with the Drain & Spin cycle and it will perform a Rinse & Spin. Be sure to choose the appropriate water level for the load. If more water is desired, choose the Deep Fill option. You can also choose the Deep Rinse option. We recommend the use of High Efficiency detergents. HE detergents reduce the oversudsing problems commonly associated with regular detergents. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Here is how to rinse. Set control on the Spin cycle - then set another control nob on a 2nd rinse cycle. The washer fills with water and will rinse and spin. You might choose water level also. The panel light will light up 'Rinse'. This is the worst machine I've ever had, but not as bad as the BS GE tells us. I wish I had money to get a better machine.
