Does its washer have a mechanical drain pump? null

Hi Tia- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing our Top Load Washers. Yes, the washer pump will pump water at a rate of 15 gallons per minute. The flow rate of the pump is dependent upon the height of the drain pipe. For each 1 foot of additional drain pipe height, the flow rate will be reduced by approximately 1 gallon per minute.
