“My new GE washer does not fill more than 1/4 with water even with deep fill. Is there something I can do to get it to fill to at least 1/2 with water?”

Hello Tish - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. The water level should be set at Super and you want to press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add an incremental amount of water to the wash load. Holding the Deep Fill button for 3 seconds will provide the deepest fill level possible. When using the Deep Fill feature, you should have more than one-fourth tub of water. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fill the washer with clothes first, then begin to fill with water. Have noticed a difference in water level when I do this. Also, pick the next size up of washer load. Hope this helps :)
