Hi tutt- The washer will accommodate most king size comforters. While not all comforters are the same thickness, any size comforter will wash properly as long as it fits below the balance ring of the washer tub and is not stuffed in the tub tightly. It has a Bulky Items wash cycle and Deep Fill / Deep Rinse options. Keep in touch! Sue
