• The GTW385 is considered high-efficiency. All of our washers use significantly less water than models of the past and we recommend using JE detergents in all of our washers. We recommend checking the features for these models - GTW325ASWWW, GTW220ACWWW, GTW480ASWWB. While we recommend HE detergent, they are not specifically listed as high-efficiency models. - Vikki@GEAppliances
