Hi Cbashir - Thanks for choosing GE! To wash in cold, select Temp: Tap Cold (Tap Cold uses incoming tap water, which can provide energy savings). For a Cold Rinse, make sure the light is off above Warm Rinse option. Please try again later.You can use the settings as the GE representative describes here in her reply to you (that "Sue from GEA" seems great, btw; not at all like the usual manufacturers' answers are in these rating comment things-- she's very helpful and the video links are great) ...or you can simply turn off your hot water supply to the washer. Per govt regs, all washers now add some cold water even when hot wash is selected... so you'll always have some cold water added no matter what temp you select. It will fill slowly, tho, if you don't turn the setting to cold or tap cold, because it will try to pull in hot, too.
