“Is it recommended to always use the Deep Rinse option when using softener? Below it it says to set when adding fabric softener so I almost feel like it's not optional. Has anyone noticed a difference when using softener and not doing a deep rinse?”

Interesting GE can be bothered patrolling forums of popular stores to answer questions & try to maintain the appearance that they care but when a less than 2 year old washer with a 2 year warranty starts leaking, they can't be bothered to respond to e-mails.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure if needed. I had done it both with and without. It was said that the fabric softener won’t dispense: this is false. It does dispense without the deep rinse. It’s feature is to get any extra fabric softener out of the fabrics. But still not sure if needed.
