“I currently have a GE washer model WPDH8800J1WW and want to replace it with GE Model GFW65055NWW. I’ve looked at the measurements and the old washer has a depth of 29.5” from back of steel to front of door. New one list 32”. Additional space in rear?”

Hi Jeff - We certainly appreciate your loyalty! This new model is designed for installation in a standard 32" closet. To enable 0” clearance on the back of the washer, you must use 90° elbow hoses. Otherwise you may require some additional clearance to avoid rubbing of the hoses against the back wall. The depth is 32" from back to front of door. You will need clearance for hoses in back as well.
