Hello, thank you for your question. Yes, this washer can be used without WiFi. The WiFi capabilities are used primarily with the SmartHQ app so you can monitor and control your washer and other appliances from anywhere. We hope this helps! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You dont need to setup or use wifi. It can be used as a non smart washer. We changed from a maytag to ge. Seems to be quieter when it does the spincycle and the clothes are dryer when they come out of the washer. Also has a “sound/chime” when done with variable levels. Wifi woulld give you an alert i beleive but we like to hear the chime and usually pay attention when we are doing laundry.
