“I just had my GFW550SSNWW washer delivered & installed yesterday and ran it today. It’s a great machine but vibrates a ton on the spin cycle. My walls and floors were vibrating like crazy. Is this normal? If so, is there anything I can do to minimize it?”

Just purchased this same washer and ours is vibrating loudly also—the technician leveled the unit but it still bangs during spin cycle

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No it’s not normal at all. There are some screws on bottom they needed to fasten it in order to minimize the shake. Either fasten it yourself or call them to come again and install it properly.

We found that if a washer is vibrating or shaking a lot, it can be caused by an unbalanced load, or the leveling legs are not firmly touching the floor.
