BB just installed a GFW55OSSNWW and a GFD55ESSNWW smart washer and dryer at my home. The end of cycle sound function is absolutely useless. Even on the highest setting the sound cannot be heard in an adjacent room. I enabled WIFI on both, and it will notify me on my phone with the SmartHQ app. However, both the washer and dryer notification is the same, so I can't tell if it is the washer or the dryer that has completed its cycle. Furthermore, GE claims Alexa compatibility, but I cannot get either the washer or dryer to announce on an Echo device that the cycle has completed using GE's SmartHQ Alexa Skill. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are probably out of luck. As another reviewer stated, even on the highest setting, he couldn't hear it in the next room. BIG DESIGN FLAW! Another big design flaw is the repeating loud noise each time the water intake valve shuts off, giving a loud CLUNK! The problem persisted even after switching to new hoses without a contricted right-angle bend.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi rabbit! Thanks for your question. To change the loudness of the end of cycle signal and the press pad volume, press the Sound pad as many times as needed to reach the desired volume. There are four sound levels including off. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
