“Just got my washer today and hooked up and the front window has scratches all over, is there a protective plastic on it that I just can't see which is what I am hoping or did GE just fail to protect the door and I am stuck with tons of scratches already?”

• Hi - We do ship this product with a protective film covering the door and that is likely what you are seeing. This should be peeled off prior to operating your new washer. We welcome you to the GE family. Vikki@GEA

• Sometimes there is a protective film on the doors, but it is usually obvious. Are they deep scratches or maybe just residue from the film that might have been removed? residue can easily be cleaned off with some glass cleaner made for plastic lens.
