“you say this matches the dryer GTD72BSBNWS, but the dimensions are not the same and the dryer is 46" high while this washer is 44". Does this mean they wont align when side-by-side?”

Hello and thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. The correct height for this washer is 46". The height from the floor to the top of the control panel is 46" on both the washer and dryer. We apologize for the error on Best Buy's page. - John@GEAppliances
