This washer machine should not be placed in an environment where it will be exposed to temperatures below freezing or exposed to the weather. It will be fine otherwise to install in an outdoor laundry room. Regarding the corrosion, if excess chlorine bleach is spilled into the tank, then perform the detergent tank clean out process from the manual. If the tub is already rusted, then cleaners that contain Oxalic Acid, such as Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser, will remove rust, tarnish, and small blemishes. Keep in touch with us! Mike@GEA

Hello Brent! Yes, I would say the cabinet finish is nice enough for a outdoor laundry room. I do not know about bleach corrosion. I do not use the beach dispenser. I only use bleach for whites and duliute the bleach , then pour it into a full wash tub. Hope this helps.
