“Do the sides of the toaster get hot to the touch when in use??”

• Not that we noticed, but we only make 4 slices at breakfast and don't go for dark/burnt toast. I expect if you like your toast dark and are making a lot of it, it may get a bit warm, fortunately, stainless tends to shed heat fairly quickly anyway.

• I've used it for a few days now and have not noticed the outside sides of the toaster getting hot when in use.

• I personally own this product and it does get not when in use. Please ensure that the product placed in such a way which allows good ventilation and is out of the reach of small children. Personally I love this toaster.

• I noticed an ever-so-slight difference in temperature between the side of the toaster versus the front and back. However, I would not call it hot at all. In fact, it was relatively cool.
