Yes, the air conditioner is equipped with a power cord and must be plugged into a 115V/120V outlet (Parallel/NEMA 5-15 plug type). see page 8 of the Installation Guide: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000462.pdf - Once installed, the Comfort - GE Appliances App can be used on Apple or Android smart phones, and is available to download for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play. This is an optional feature and not required for use. • It is not wireless - it works with WiFi so you can turn on remotely
