“My current gas range has an average household 3 pronged outlet, not a range cord outlet. Would using that same cord on this range have a negative effect or will I not be able to use it without the 3 pronged range cord outlet?”

The power cord of this gas range has a three-prong (grounding) plug (120V) which plugs into a standard three-prong grounding wall receptacle to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from this appliance.
