No, this model has an electronic ignition.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The appliance itself is gas and so will either need to be hooked up to your natural gas outlet or, if you have an adapter kit, propane. As far as ignition goes it does use electricity to make the spark to light the burners and heat the oven. However, the electricity is simply to run the display and spark the gas...the oven itself uses gas to cook. If your power goes out at your house you won't be able to turn on the lower oven because you can't light that manually. However, you could still use the burners on the top by simply turning them on and using a match to light them. Hope this helps!

Should there be a power failure, the oven will not function but the burners may be lit with a match. We no longer offer a model with standing gas pilot.
