Dobyou know it after the install they set the oven to 350 and let it run for 40 mins?? You need to do this before you actually use it the 1st time to clear the factory paint and oils out....it will smoke a little the first time it's used.

It is caused by the heating of new parts, insulating materials, or the tape used in shipping, and should dissipate after the first few uses. A slight odor is normal when the cooktop is used for the first time is also normal. If you want to get rid of the odor in the oven quicker, set the oven on Bake at 500 degrees F for 1 hour, followed by Hi Broil for 45 minutes. - With that, this smoke could be caused by the food you're cooking as well. Some foods may give off more smoke than others do, particularly those that are normally grilled. To avoid creating excessive smoke: 1. Avoid cooking greasy foods. 2. Keep the interior of the oven clean. 3. Avoid using large amounts of cooking agents such as olive oil or cooking sprays. - We hope this is helpful!
