A:AnswerThis range leaves the factory set for use with natural gas. If you want to convert to LP gas, the conversion must be preformed by a qualified LP gas installer. The LP gas conversion kit and instructions are included with the range.

A:AnswerHi Buddy - Thanks for considering GE! Model JGBS66REKSS has Steam Clean (not self-cleaning). The steam clean cycle is 30 minutes and will loosen soil on the racks as well as the oven interior, which then can be wiped off with a soapy dishcloth. This feature is quicker, cooler and faster than the Self-Clean feature. Simply pour 1 cup of water in the center of the oven floor and choose Steam Clean. Take a look at the following link- RANGES & WALL OVENS - STEAM CLEAN / LIGHT SELF-CLEAN: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17334 - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. A:AnswerHi J- We currently do not offer a griddle cover. The range is also compatible with CENTER CAST IRON GRATE JXGRATE1 (sold separately) and Cast Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle WB31X24998 (sold separately). Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
A:AnswerHi BonAirRVATheresa - Thanks for choosing GE Model JGBS66REKSS. We are sorry to hear of the difficulty cleaning the broiler drawer. A:AnswerHello Webby. There may be some radiant heat that it absorbs from the surround burners, but it would be no different than the center grate getting warm in the same situation. Thanks for checking. Olga

Got from GE's website. Not sure why Best Buy doesn't list the full dimensions.
A:AnswerHi,
Thanks for asking! We're grateful for your interest in this model and we're glad we can help. We found that this model does have an Audible Preheat Signal. If you have any other questions or concerns please let us know. Take care!

A:AnswerYes, but it's a bit non-traditional. The broiler is in the bottom (where a lot of stove/ovens just have a storage drawer - this sis the broiler and we actually haven't used it once yet in the 4 months we've owned it. But We love the pancake griddle!
A:AnswerHi there,
Based on our research, you are not able to bake and broil simultaneously. You would need to choose either to bake your food or to broil it. For more information you can view your Owner's Manual here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-1.pdf - We hope that this helped! Thank you very much for your question. -MS
A:AnswerMine is brand new also and I was telling my hubby that I need to season the griddle first. I don’t know if anyone else did but any new cast iron I purchase I always season it before use. I always use a good coating crisco shortening or vegetable oil to season. I will also put it in the oven on 375 for about an hour. Since I don’t use a griddle all the time I purchased the center grate that is sold separately. Hope this helps!!
A:AnswerHi Candy - Thanks for selecting GE Model # JGBS66DEKWW! You can find the rating label on the
front behind the range broiler drawer. This label will have both the model and serial numbers listed. View illustrations at this link- https://www.geappliances.com/ge/find-model-serial-number/ranges.htm - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerThe top gets pretty warm because there is a oven vent there; but I'm pretty sure you are concerned about the sides which don't get very hot (they are insulated), which is why there is minimal clearance. Wonderful range BTW.
