Hey there, and thanks for communicating this situation to us. We hate to hear you’ve had an issue with the interior light not coming on, and also lost a spring when you switched the door; we know any issues like those may cause concern. The light is designed to turn on and remain lit for 5 minutes when the door is opened, when the Start/Pause pad is pressed, or when the Light pad is pressed. If the light is not coming on in any of those cases, you may want to consider service. Unfortunately we cannot say for sure what the issue with the light is or whether that lost spring is causing a problem, without a technician examining the unit.
