“The SmartDispense function on my newly installed washer defaults to 'More' not 'Auto' (per the manual) when powering up. I'm also not able to correct by holding the button. Is this something we'll need to have repaired or is there another fix?”

Hi - Thank you for having purchased a GE front-load washer. When initially "powering up" the washer with the tub empty it should automatically default to Auto. If your unit is not doing this, please disconnect power to the washer for 1-2 minutes to reset the electronics. If the issue persists, we would recommend service. All our best! Vikki@GEA
