• Hi Mikey - Thanks for considering GE Model # GFW850SPNRS! The basket alternates spin direction between counter-clockwise and clockwise during ‘wash phase’. The basket always spins counter-clockwise during ‘spin phase’. The basket does not do an ‘untangling routine’ during/after a redistribution, however it does do a ‘prep step’ that spins clockwise to determine characteristic about the unique load in the basket before starting the dBT (Dynamic Balancing Technology) activity.
