A:AnswerI FIND DOG HAIR IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN FROM THE GASKET. VERY DISAPPOINTED. DID NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE WITH MY PREVIOUS FRONT LOADER. GE FRONT LOADER WITH ULTRAFRESH VENT SYSTEM. THE VENT SYSTEM WILL
CONTINUE TO RUN FOR HOURS AND NOT DRY THE INSIDE. EVEN WHEN DOOR IS OPEN AND INSIDE IS DRY THE HAIR CLINGS TO THE GASKET. VERY DISAPPOINTED WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU HAVE PETS

A:AnswerIt ended being the washer. Not sure what was wrong with it but we ordered a second one and when that one came in we plugged it in and have had no issues with that one.
A:AnswerHello there,
Thanks so much for reaching out. The household water heater should be delivering water between 90-120 degrees F. The water is used solely from the household water supply. If the water is not hot enough, Check to ensure both Hot and Cold water supply valves are turned on.
Check to ensure the hose connections were not reversed. The hoses are marked with letters "H" for HOT and "C" for Cold. The washer machine does not contain any type of heating element. We hope this helps. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerGood day,
Thanks so much for reaching out. We'll be glad to answer your question. We do not recommend stacking the washer and dryer on top of a pedestal as that would be too much weight. We hope this helps. Mike@GEA

A:AnswerHi JJ,
Great question! We have found that the total height of the washer and pedestal is approximately 55.75". The washer is 39.75" and the pedestal is 16". I hope this helps. Best wishes -Mike
A:AnswerHi JM - Thanks for considering GE Model GFW850SPNRS! The pedestal is an optional accessory and not required for the washer to work. Optional Pedestal Accessory GFP1528PNRS (Sold Separately) simply raises the washer 16" and provides flexible multi-use storage. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerI don't know what a "planked" load is, but it can wash blankets and big loads. The instructions break it down into what you can put in the tub. I've washed a Queen size blanket with no problem.
