“I've had my GE 5.0 High Eff. for 4 years. On the spin cycle it continues to attempt balancing but will not balance. The machine jumps and vibrates as if its coming apart. It does this with small or large loads. We have stop using it. Need repairman.”

Hello- We are sorry to hear you are having these issues. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
