“Can this oven be hardwired or must I buy/attach a plug AND install a wall plug? My current GE SPECTRA has been hardwired for 20 years without issue.”

This oven requires a 4 foot (or Ionger) oven range cord. You must buy a brand new cord, as you should not use the current cord. I purchased oven and cord from Best Buy. Also paid for installation and haul away of old oven. The cord was installed while on the Best Buy delivery truck. You could install the cord yourself. Make sure the cord you buy matches the wall/floor plug. Some wall/floor are 3 or 4 prongs.

You must use a single-phase, 120/208 VAC or 120/240 VAC, 60 hertz electrical system. If you connect to aluminum wiring, properly installed connectors approved for use with aluminum wiring must be used. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
