Yes. There's a Wifi button which has to be activated to connect to Wifi. By default it's NOT activated, rendering the range invisible to area networks. It will only be discoverable after Wifi is manually activated.

Please try again later.There are specific steps you must perform like downloading our SmartHQ app and create an account using data from the range to connect the range to your home WiFi. If you prefer not to use the connected features you certainly don't have to do so. -Vikki@GEAppliances
