• Hello, thank you so much for your question. We would be happy to answer this for you. For safety reasons, all of the burners on our electric stoves use a temperature probe and cycle the heat on and off to maintain a constant temperature on your burner. Without this feature, even on a low setting, the burner would continue adding heat to the glass cooktop and your cookware constantly and the temperature will increase as long as it is turned on.
