Hello Bo - Thank you for the excellent question about this superb range. We would love to help you with this. The further down the rack is, the browner the bottom of your baked goods will be. Likewise with the top, as the higher the position the browner the tops will be. The manual for this range has a cooking guide with recommended rack positions for all types of cooking on page 15.
