Q: QuestionI was a bit confused by your reply on the color of the cooktop. White patterned black?? Would that in effect be a kind of gray or not? I have had smooth tops for over 25 years and am very familiar with cleaning etc. However I do not like black!!

Q: QuestionI am looking for an oven that has most of the specifications that the JB700JWW has, but I really want 5 burners with the 2 front burners having 'quick boil'. Does this model have that feature?

Q: QuestionI have looked at a bunch of reviews for GE smooth cooktop ranges and for almost all of them the lowest reviews will always mention that the cooktop scratches easily. I DON'T want one that scratches. searching other brands I don't see that.

• A:Answer We had a noticeable crack (or scratch) within 6 months of use. The replacement glasstop scratched within a month. I have never seen this on other brands of glasstop stoves that I have owned or used.

• A:Answer Hello mb - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. Both of these ranges are very nice models and both have three small and two large burners. The PB911SJSS also offers the edge-to-edge cooktop, which is a large, seamless surface that is easy to wipe away messes. It also offers the True European Convection with Precise Air, "Warm" mode feature, an additional heavy-duty oven rack, full-wrapped stainless oven door, You will notice that the backsplash is also different.
