Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. The only cooking products that are hardwired are built-in cooking products such as wall ovens, cooktops, hoods and drop-in ranges. Non-built-in cooking products such as this range, do not come with a power cord and is purchased separately. It is not possible to determine what an area's local electrical codes require, and we suggest that you consult with your local electrical code to verify what is needed for your area.
