Are you saying your cooking surface is 25.5” above the floor? That sounds wrong. Too low. Did you mean 35.5”? Our cook top is 36” above the floor. The vent at the rear rises about 3/4” above the cook top. Hope this helps.

If you are referring to the depth of the unit, ours is 27.5” from the backsplash to the front. The oven door handle adds a bit more.
