Are you sure you can't go into setup and remove buzzing notification?? Get owners manual and check it out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The stove has a fan that turns on to cool it, I just had mine installed and it had a paper taped to it to advise that it makes a hum noise and that it's the fan
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your new range. We are sorry to hear of your disappointment. The range is equipped with an audible preheat signal. Many newer ranges have a Preheat that will signal when the oven has reached a temperature hot enough to add food, rather than when the set temperature is reached. Typically the range will signal after about 7-12 minutes, depending of the temperature you set. We test our ranges with prepackaged foods, frozen pizzas, baked goods, etc. We put the items in at the beep, and get good results. This can help save time in the kitchen, since you are not waiting longer for the preheat than necessary, in most cases. If you have further concerns, please reach out to us at GEAppliances.com - We certainly want to make sure your range is operating as designed. Sue
