• Hi Soupman - Thanks for your interest in our GE Slide-in Electric Ranges. We currently do not offer a model with downdraft venting. While it can be installed in an island, the oven vent is located at the rear of the cooktop. Most range or cooktop models do not require a ventilation system or have a CFM requirement; however, we recommend checking the local residential codes in your area to see if one is required.
