QuestionThe specifications state the height is 37 1/4 inches, however my counter is not that same height. Is this height the maximum with the adjustable feet? Or is this the true overall height?

- Answer Go to the there web site and you can get the installers sheet it has all the specs. That is the total not the stove top. Mine ended up dead even with the counter top with out moving the adjusters on the bottom.

QuestionMy old JSP42SN3SS ceramic glass has a small crack, and the glass is no more available from GE. That glass overlapped on all three sides, back sat on a counter strip about 2.5 in. Will this JS760SPSS fit with the back counter strip in place?

- Answer No, I’m order to fit properly it touches the wall. So there is no allowance for the molded backsplash of a post formed countertop.

- Answer Yes but as wuth any ceramic top it can break if you were to drop your le cruset on it or scratch it by sliding it on the surface.

- Answer Best Buy sent me an email asking me to answer this question but unfortunately Best Buy also still hasn't delivered the Range to me for 4+ months so i can't tell you. -- but i would recommend buying elsewhere. they have already missed multiple delivery appointments and a "before Christmas guarantee". the last time i had an appointment i waited all day and only after waiting 10 hours did they tell me they "forgot to route the truck to your house" ... that was over 4 weeks ago and still no range.

QuestionI have had 2 slide in ranges. My question is this, right where the control panel comes closest to the cooktop what is that material? Found out the hard way that under that black plastic is WHITE so when I accidentally place a hot pan there it melted a bit

- Answer The back doesnt butt up tight to your back wall there is a grill type vent which is part of the stove that creates space for the venting system Dont cover that with a counter
