We would say it is self venting as there is a narrow vent in the back of the oven that runs the whole width. I only use the convection feature and notice the fan will continue to run for a bit after turning the oven off. Hope this answers your question.

Please try again later.The venting on this range runs across the bottom of the backsplash and is there to allow the oven to vent excess heat and smoke to ensure the best cooking performance. An over-the-range vent hood or over-the-range microwave will provide the venting needed for cooking odors, grease, and smoke from cooking using the surface burners. You may want to consider purchasing a vent hood or over-the-range style microwave too.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a vent across the rear of the top. This vent is not powered and it vents the oven. Burn something in the oven the smoke comes out this vent.
