Good news! I moved the stove out to see what was needed to remove vent cover, and the skewer was on the floor!!! The stove is installed on a quartz island and the vent is very accessible. I was lucky than it fell behind the stove, but we rent this place to tourists when we are off island. I would like to prevent a tenant from having this happen. Is there some kind of vent cover/screen for the stove or will I need to have something fabricated. Thanks for your prompt reply to my first question.
